Delivery Drivers / In-home Mattress Set-up

Delivery Driver / In-home Mattress Set-up 

America's Mattress is seeking a full-time, intelligent, and outgoing Delivery/Warehouse employee who thrives in a fast paced environment and can comfortably interact with customers/co-workers to join our team. The position will require approximately40 hours/week, but can vary depending on workload. Overtime will be required during peak times.

Applicant Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a VALID DRIVER LICENSE with none or minimal driving citations in the past 3 years.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including late evenings, Saturdays and some holidays. Reliable transportation and ability to work overtime on short notice.
• Ability to pass a drug test and physical examination.
• Heavy lifting is required. Must be able to repeatedly lift heavy mattresses, furniture, etc. with a partner.
• Be able to drive a large box truck (CDL license not required).

Job Responsibilities

As a Delivery/Warehouse employee, your main responsibility will be to deliver mattresses and related items to customers’ homes in a fast, efficient, highly courteous manner.

Additional responsibilities for the Delivery/Warehouse employee include:

• Load delivery trucks with correct items per delivery logs.
• Correctly follow delivery route schedule provided by supervisor.
• Ensure customer satisfaction during delivery and address any issues that arise during delivery. Maintaining records related to deliveries.
• Unload vendor shipments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate

At America's Mattress, we know that our team members work very diligently to ensure that our customers receive the best service possible. Therefore, we are proud to offer a very competitive pay rate. Starting pay rate is $15.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on level of experience. You will be eligible for a raise after 90 days with good performance.

Benefits

SIGN ON BONUS of $1000 paid in 4 payments during first year.  Seven (7) paid holidays per year after 90 days of employment, and paid vacation after 1 year of employment.
